In-Class Task 1

Hi,

This is the first time I creat a blog..my very own blog. My beloved parents named me Nur Rasyidah Bt Rahmat, actually I was named after a female doctor's name at my mothers' workplace. My parents hope that I can be a doctor. Obviously, I m failed to fulfill their dream. Luckily, they are very supportive and understand that I have tried my best to fulfill their dream, it just that being here in UiTM is my destiny.

I named this blog as Eteng.
First of all let me share with u why I named this blog as Eteng.

E T E N G

Eteng is my favourite character in a custom practice (wayang kulit) performed by the Kelantanese adult community aged 50 years old and above. Eteng is a strong and brave Siam character but yet very funny.

Computer software? hmmmmm....
I was exposed to various computer softwares but i only know basics computer software such as microsoft office, because as a student I use it all the time.

I oftenly engaged in internet activities such as emailing, YM, transfering files to my friends that I work with and so on. I didn't favor uploading and downloading any videos or songs from the internet...because sometimes the internet is so slow and it makes me waiting...well.. waiting..it doesnt sound nice, right? Well, I can say that I am not that passionate in downloading songs...hehehe. I supposed everyone likes listening to songs. In my case, I listen to songs everyday, especially J.Lo song entitled "Let's Get Loud"...but I dont have to worry about downloading songs and videos because my housemates (Mira and Afni) are the one who will provide me with the latest songs and videos. Thanks to them.

For now, I m really crazy of Barn Buddy. It is one of the features in the facebook. It's like online farming...hahahaha..well, i just started, I don't know much about it...for more information, please contact the expert (Afni-rank1)..I hope Afni won't be mad that I mention her name in my blog...heehehe.

During my practicum, I have tried to integrate technology in my teaching but there's a problem.
The teacher who is incharge of the laptops and LCDs didn't allow us (trainee teacher) to use the laptops and LCDs. I don't want to create any problem to UiTM, so I just keep my mouth shut...
I m quite dissapointed with what had happened because I have promised my students to show them pictures and funny videos to them. Well, I have my own laptop, but it is not compatible with the LCD... Nowadays, the young generation is really fond of technology, so it is an advantage for the teachers to exploit technology as one of the tools that can be used in their teaching. Furthermore, the teaching and learning process will be fun and interactive. Perhaps, some teachers they are too comfortable with their method of teaching...pity students...'Make a Change', said Michael Jackson in one of his songs. We should make a change.

Internet makes our life easier...hehehe
Appart from using internet for entertainment, I also use in for educational purposes.
During the semester break, I use internet to search for articles, journals and books for my ae.
In my opinion, using internet...well it helps alot.. Technology is an art...
